We are family-oriented, purebred Golden Retriever breeders rooted in the heart of Chinook Country, Central Alberta.
For over 16 years, our family has been pouring love, time, and effort into raising well-rounded, healthy Goldens. We’re doing what we love, and we love what we do.

Our Goldens
Our dogs are bred for companionship, not for show.
They are athletic, intelligent, and make incredible companions for active families, hunters, and trail lovers alike. Goldens are, first and foremost, family dogs—and we raise ours that way.
We love to see our Goldens used as companion and therapy dogs. One of our Goldens lived in an elder care home for over 8 years. She provided comfort and joy to the seniors and their families every day. That’s the kind of dogs we aim to provide for you.
Health and Genetics
Health is non-negotiable here.
All of our breeding dogs are:
• OFA certified for hips and elbows after 24 months (sometimes with preliminary screenings at 18 months)
• Eye and heart certified
• Genetically tested for common Golden Retriever disorders
In addition, our dogs get annual vet checkups, vaccinations, and regular wellness exams.

Prior to purchasing our pup with Chinook Goldens, I spent a lot of time searching for an ethical breeder that cares about preserving and improving the field golden retriever line.
I am happy to say that Chinook Goldens does exactly that. We purchased a boy in 2024 and he is an outstanding dog. Amazing structure, temperament, personality and On/Off switch.
